zap stream is currently the most widely used nostr streaming service provider

whether you self host, use zap stream, or use another provider - primal apps will pick them up

One more question. So even if it's not on zap stream, we should still be able to zap the stream from the primal feed?

but also zap stream picks up all nostr live streams as well

so if a streamer self hosts their stream, for instance, both the chat and video will be shown in primal and zap stream

Streams are NIP-53. So any stream from anywhere will display in any app that supports NIP-53.
