In Finland they don't sell alcohol after 9pm. Also you can buy only beer in grocery. Wine an booze can be bought only from gov owned liquor store. No wonder we drink too much.

Perhaps that is when alcohol impaired crime is more prevalent? I don’t know, just a thought.

Bigger question is, why do we always run out of alcohol exactly after midnight?

Some people have no self control, so, the lawmakers insist that the rest of the population that does have self control must suffer the same consequences of those few who lack self control.
