But seriously to power a cooler I need like 6-7k fiats to power the thing, even mining only saves me $100/yr ******

******if if if & if by some miracle if statement

Have you heard about 100 acres ranch & the work nostr:npub17h5wenqrfy4hym0zg5kqytraa7zmcqm9ehw4yxmexd2yyhukq8vsuj88mq has been doing?

I dont meme, but my mind is blown.

Just Wow

I need to power an 1300watt a/c unit for 4-5 months that leave the winter for mining, i know less sun but unused power.

Maybe government subsidies. If so, it probably never made any sense.

*cries a larger tear to fuel 2.1second of Bitcoin mining

Tax credits and bonus depreciation

At this point bitcoin only helps my equation, I appreciate the frankness.

Yeah I’m not sure what the incentives are in Canada but in the states you have to have a tax appetite

Selling surplus peak production to grid operators doesn't make any sense without subsidies - the rates are low, the infrastructure limiting, and operators often blatantly lie.

Mining with surplus peak solar production is essentially free money
