I ran Umbrel for over 2.5 years. It was great. But I'm a power user. The last year and a half my Umbrel was very customized, running different containers, updated docker configs, and standalone apps. I opted to move to a custom built node. For the average user that just wants a Bitcoin and Lightning node, it's great.
