Whenever I complain about something, I just remind myself of when I first arrived here and how hard it was to get to where I am, at least right now. Here is a video of me capturing the apartment my classmate and I used to live in when we came to the USA.

it was so common for me to see spots on the wall in my peripheral vision move (because there were bugs everywhere) that when I was reading for classes, on the opposite facing page I started seeing commas and periods move too. 🤪
Oh damn! That’s brutal. I remember the first night we went to sleep the bed bugs started bitting and we woke up were like holy fuck what’s going on and what is bitting us (in Ukraine there is no bed bags) then called to the owner he called the company to clean them out and all of our clothes went straight to the dumpster😂
