My global feed on Damus is still unusable.

Is it just a matter of disconnecting from the scatty relays I started with?

yes, paid relays can filter the spams pretty well

Just struggling to remember which are the ones I paid for and which ones are my legacy relays 🧐

You can see it in the relays list on Damus. The paid ones have a $ in front of them

I’m on an ancient damus that doesn’t show $ in front of the relays.

Oh, okay. Hopefully the new version will be released on the App Store soon

48 relays?! Your feed must be a firehose of Chinese porn 🤣

bravo, now i’m checking paid relays in OP’s list…

Did a serious cut down of relays to mirror #[3] but no tangible change to global 😔

maybe remove brb.io, nos.lol, and relay.current.fyi - when i add them i see spams in global

not sure about the others though…

Thanks for the info. Pulled these relays but no joy 😔

hopefully the ios version will update soon!

Yep this is where I’m at with getting a clean global feed. Waiting for the iOS update. Thanks for the advices 🧡💜⚡️

Yes. This or you can change filters on global to only show events from paid relays

Thanks so much but I don’t have the filter option at the top of global 😔

I guess that build isn’t in the App Store yet

Turn off read from most of them, check feeds, turn off and on more. You'll find a balance of spam and not losing people.
