I thought I was doing alright and had loads when we went foraging. Basically stripped the bushes bare. You've got the mother load there bro.
Sloes are not coming the same amount every year. They alternate and also depends a lot of the raining season. They need also good sun in the last 2 months before the first freezing night.
The best time to collect is after the first night under 0C.
Try to collect each year from different place.
This is a box that fit 2.5kg of sloes. I usually get 2 of these boxes for 30-40L of total drink. Around 2-3h having fun collecting.
