Remember how Apple bullied Hey.com ?

That triggered DHH (and 37signals) to completely move away from the Apple ecosystem. I believe they only use Linux there now.

Business is the only place where competition is anticompetitive and players are expected to help their competitors.

Antitrust laws are a political weapon and should be abolished. Don't use Apple products if you don't really want what they're selling.
