I have both. If it's your first one, maybe go with the jade.
It depends where you're at on your journey, and how much you want to spend really .. I personally have a few Jades that I aquired for the price of one Coldcard, with a view to eventually get one of those new fancy, all dancing Coldcards .. 🤙🏼

The jade is a good replacement for a ledger. I think you'd like it. Plus it's easy to sit with Sparrow wallet on desktop or Nunchuk on mobile.
