Starts with the synthetic “Vitamin K” basically in the delivery room (last I checked, newborns liver cannot digest it until at least two weeks after birth) and then, the US has scheduled approximately 276 vaccines through childhood.
That vitamin k is also available as vitamin k drops, so the needle is unnecessary in any scenario.
