Wonder if Apple sales will start losing market share to Android from their banning of communication apps? Android at least has FDroid and I believe other stores. Apple's complete centralization may shoot themselves in the foot over the long run.

The smartphone today with current apps can replace the need for a Voice and Text Messaging services. There is no reason for a need to have a telephone number :) These services are both free today. Its a no-brainer where that is headed. It won't be called a phone in the future.
