Shop workers in Wales face alarming levels of verbal abuse, threats, and physical assaults, with 69% experiencing verbal abuse and 17% being assaulted, according to a Usdaw survey. Retail trade union Usdaw is calling for shop workers to receive the same protection as NHS staff.
