What MCP is lacking natively is support for web sockets. Just saying.

It has a SSE transport which was an odd choice. I think WS would have been better.

Yup. I mean it could be added still... Also there's projects using DVMs to bridge MCP to nostr.

Yes it’s been said but MCP is stateful and maintains context and you can provide not just tools and resources but also prompt templates and so none of this read API doc, postman collections, etc.

I guess prompt templates are the new postman collection.
