Some people on nostr are based. It’s a weird mix of Twitter flavour libtards and normal libertarians.
I have a hard time blaming it on only race; but when 13% of the population commits 50% of the crimes….It will be interesting to watch these conversations happen on here. How do we have a conversation about this that’s not targeted as hate speech?
You don't. If you think George Floyd was anything other than a literal angel sent by God himself, then you are a dirty racist white supremacist.
There has to be a middle ground. That guy was a POS and should have never been the poster child for any movement.
The other side sure isn't looking for any middle ground.

That's a good question. The strategy so far of telling people to "imagine what it would have been like if the races had been reversed, imagine how the media and government would have responded!!" isn't effective.
I find calling them out on their racism somewhat effective. They often bring out the “x minority can’t be racist” trope, but they know it’s true. “White people are oppressors.” Wow, that’s racist.
