Visa vs. Lightning

The original Bitcoin protocol can handle a maximum of 7 transactions per second. However, with the Lightning Network, Bitcoin can execute hundreds of thousands of transactions per second. In comparison, Visa can process up to 65,000 transactions per second. #BitcoinScaling #LightningNetwork ⚡️⏱️

Not sure why I keep seeing those numbers regarding lightning. The network can handle an infinite amount of tx per seconds in theory 😀.
