I have come to the conclusion that Tumps endorsement of Bitcoin is not a good thing for Bitcoin.
This endorsement comes at such a politically divided time, that most liberals will instantly write Bitcoin off because Trump is pro.

I truly believe it’s irrelevant. If he makes good on his promise to free Ross, bitcoiners and freedom maximalists win. Ultimately, Bitcoin doesn’t need him. I think most US politicians are inherently destructive, selfish, & dishonest so his intentions aren’t ever going to be genuine.

Don’t. As long as you’ve done and keep doing research to build your own conviction theres no need to stress. The most beautiful thing about Bitcoin is how it either changes you or reveals your true fickle heartedness. Whenever I see politicians getting involved I laugh because in a few you’ll see what they really believe or what their true intentions are.
Stack sats, move them off exchanges, hold your own keys, run a node, and keep certain things private. You’re going to make it.
The real problem is the polarization.
The Bitcoin community as a whole needs to do some work here by not being obnoxious HFSP egomaniacs.
The inflation is only getting worse in the 🇺🇸 and I’m seeing people waking up and fumbling for the lever to the escape hatch.
If you saw trump speak at the conference in Nashville (or online as I did) you know he’s just spewing phrases and didn’t study Bitcoin. We deserve politicians who can prove they understand it, like Bukele.
Anything short of that is a rug.
I thought RFKs speech at the conference was good at least and showed he at least understands the basic principles and not just another "industry" to go after
His was superior, I didn’t catch much of it but it was clear he was the only candidate who gave half a shit.
