Bravo, this was excellent.
Even as a centrist dad I am all for this rhetoric (for centrist dad, Americans should translate as European communist)
Seeing the media, and the ‘DC class’ whither and meltdown is like something from Hunger Games.
I really hope it continues, and that more of the republican congress crtters start shrieking. Retirements would be welcome.
I've never understood why journalists have been held in such high regard, as though they are somehow smarter than the populace or are more "all knowing." Many of them are at minimum ignorant and incapable of understanding topics they are reporting on, or worse they are complicit or intentionally abusing the perception that they are knowledgeable in order to manipulate the public. The more I see the more I realize it is the latter. I love seeing them get called out, lose market share, lose their jobs, etc. Do something where you add value to society or get the fuck out. No more lazy-ass thoughtless reporting on "Putin's price hike" or how competent Sleepy Joe is, how the January inflation print is Trump's fault, etc.
# why does this fucker keep saying "democracy'" the country is a republic that has just a few representative democratic processes, people are already stupid enough without someone giving them more wrong terms to use!
