No, if you can find one that’s now 25 years old, you should be fine importing one.

They stop caring about the NHSTA stuff after 25yr?
Yes, it doesn’t have to comply with the safety standards. They call it the 25 yr rule.. if it’s under that, it’s a “show and display” so can’t really drive it.
