# Nostr question time

I have verification set up on a personal domain now. I have heard of some users changing keys, but keeping the same identity attached to it. Where can I find more resources on this to learn? I'm growing attached to this place, and want to make sure I can keep this identity. This seems like a good thing to know.

You can change your pubkey, and then change it in your domain server, your identity will be the same, but as far as I know the nostr clients at this moment follow a pubkey, not a nip5 identifier. So you will loose all your contacts.
