Master Key is a new thing we introduced that allows you to have one seed to generate keys to Nostr, Liquid network, bitcoin onchain and LNURL login. It is not related to lightning wallet itself and does not back it up.

You still can use Nostr without Master Key

Oohh okay. That explains a lot. When talking to nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 yesterday, I thought something was off 😅. But good to know now. Thanks!
