Okay, here goes...

While doing research on Greenpeace's "Change the Code"-campaign, it's easy to conclude that the goal is noble. Of course Bitcoin can play a part in combat global warming, and we should talk about the currencies impact on the enviornment.

The big issue though, is that Greenpeace point to the problem being proof-of-work, but then don't offer any concrete alternatives and solutions to the problem at hand.

If there is to be a serious discussion about how Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general can do their part in the fight against global warming, there has to be options on the table, in which everyone can come to an agreement on which one is the best suited.

That is all, indefinitely.
