Types of relationships:

1. Help someone build a big building. Eg. normal/effort/waiting -> maybe too slow

2. Not build anything. Eg. dole bludger (young) -> herbivore man (older)

3. Build alone. Have casual relationships. Eg. player (young) -> John (older)

4. Just go with it. Eg. family man (young) -> single dad (older)

5. Build physical and emotional buildings in separate jurisdictions. Eg. world traveller (young) -> pen pals (older)

6. Move to a more male-friendly jurisdiction. Eg. polymath (young) -> provider (older)

7. Find someone working on a big building. Eg. Waiting for her (young) -> resent her for having had to wait for her (older)

8. Find someone who has finished building a big building. Eg. difficult to find (young) -> easy to find (older)

So maybe try to do a little of each.
