Until I retired in 2021 students were STILL asking if I was "allowed" to wear my locs in court!!!!! I just...I just have no words for that place...Took me 9 months to heal myself after I retired.

It was a racist, traumatic experience unlike anything she'd ever gone through before. My parents were shook by that place. It was very upsetting to them that my sister lived there.
