this is my current main offramp... first bitcoin CC that is legit, the support guys are amazing, they have helped me out and let me avoid chasing after more complicated ways to hold bitcoin until i need to spend it

i've tried binance cards - which were already being frauded before i even started to use it (with no funds) and then i lost 500eur of ETH on it when a bulgarian bank ATM swallowed the wirex card, and wirex did nothing, just like the previous time, i regretted this badly, but tehy did send me a card... i just let the stupid bank ATM swallow it

and the worst irony was that the bank that swallowed the card was the first bank i had an account with when i migrated to bulgaria in 2013!

yeah, xapo is the only legit bitcoin <-> mastercard route i know of, all the other options require SWIFT and i'd have to chase down a local bank for that, and i have been able to avoid it so far, and i'd rather continue to avoid using an EU regulated bank tyvm, with the current growing risk that these cunts in brussels are going to throw up more obstacles that i don't have to worry about if have a UK jurisdiction card that works in EU

idk what to say...

yes, i want to be able to just pay bitcoin straight, and i don't want to and currently don't live in the part of this island where all the bitcoiners are orangepilling, because those places are so noisy i can't hear myself think

yes, it's not my friend who is making these concerns, i know he needs to pay his suppliers so if he takes zaps he needs to spend euros, so i'm not willing to push him there unless it actually helps him

Let me know how you solve it for him. I was convincing Palestinian community to move to Nostr and take advantage of #value4value to support those producing content but also possibly those in Gaza that ise IG amd never get paid shit. Still they always ask..how do I convert to money I can use on daily basis. Still the idea of stacking for future is valid. Nostr is a different case than your friend selling stuff in real life though.

yeah man it's hard... we are pushing the envelope here, we have a solid base economy now, we just need to push out into the world and get people to start using it as the money that it is

every single person has to get it to join, just like we did... and they are ready for it when they are looking for new ways to get new business, because we can list them on btcmap and others and shill them on nostr and nostriches and bitcoiners in the area have the opportunity to find out about them and reinforce the circuit...
