𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗨𝗗 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯!

It’s Friday again, so it’s time for me to respond to some common FUD, and let it die, just like the year 2023.

This week’s FUD:

“𝘽𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙧.”

A lot of people feel intimidated by new technology, and no one alive today has seen a new money arrive on the scene, so understanding #Bitcoin can sometimes seem daunting.

There’s nothing to worry about, though.

The notion that Bitcoin is too complex for the average user is a myth perpetuated by a general misunderstanding and fear of the new. Bitcoin is an innovative solution 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦, and tools for using it are continuously evolving to make it easier to use.

Critics sometimes liken Bitcoin's creation to going through the process of inventing the whole universe, just for the ability to bake an apple pie. While its foundational concepts are intricate, and designed to address deep systemic flaws, 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. Once demystified, Bitcoin's true nature as a practical and essential innovation becomes clear.

𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲. It's akin to driving a car without knowing the intricacies of its engine. As an average user, you don’t need to learn every part of how it works, you only need to know 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 it works, and how you can use it effectively.

Individual sovereignty — and therefore also personal responsibility — is Bitcoin’s core principle. This might seem like a new and even uncomfortable concept to some, but it means that 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Bitcoin's design makes it resistant to censorship and inherently robust.

For those intimidated by Bitcoin's perceived complexity, 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. Bitcoiners tend to love talking about Bitcoin, and most of them will be willing and able to answer your questions. And 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, so I can simplify Bitcoin's concepts, and guide you through understanding its principles and functionality.

To all new or potential Bitcoiners, don't be swayed by this or any other fear, uncertainty, or doubt about Bitcoin. 𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦. With each step, what may seem complicated now will become clear, and empower you with confidence, self-sovereignty, and generational wealth.
