I’m not deep in that world. My undwrstanding is Latex is for composing (e.g. PhD student writing a disseration, researcher writing a paper). Composing is largely an independent task.

Whereas the tool Jack posted is for reading, highlighting. The social power of nostr is great for e.g. discussing papers etc.
