My great grandma spent a year being mad that she had to move into one, but the doctor threatened to take it to court because she was in such bad shape (her caretakers weren't doing anything wrong, she was just too ill to live without professional care.)

After a year of pouting, she finally started joining everyone else for activities, making new friends. They let her use a spare room to run a library, which meant she got to keep all her books from home (she had thousands.)

Unfortunately she died after just a few months of that.

She thinks that it's her house and the nurses and cohabitants are her tenants 🥴
