Yup. That implies to replace the Docker container.

Replacing it may require to replace the databases routes too. So the principle is the same.

I'm open to hear if I'm in a mistake.

Just not copying the files through different devices but through different routes on the same device.

Like migrating from Core to Knots.

I’m sure your method works as described for migrating between different machines but it would be helpful to see a set of instructions written out just for this scenario.
