Phoenix has some great hiking, Frank Lloyd Wright landmarks, and decent zoo, botanical garden, and sports teams, depending on your interests.

We have the Grand Canyon up north, as well as the red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Payson, Pinetop, Greer, and the Mogollon Rim area is also beautiful.
