Asch conformity experiment (1950s)

Basically 99 people in on it convince the 100th that a triangle is a square. About 76% of participants conformed with the group’s wrong answer.

I really wanna try this experiment. I'm confident I can get it up to 90% success rate. 🀭

I'd heard of the version with different length lines. Believe I've even seen a video. 5 people, first 4 plants, pick shorter line and say it's longest, last person struggles but usually agrees

Yep

Yes sir, you are correct. This is an entertainment npub mostly. I plan to infuse retard to the singularity. I have an angle tho. 🐸🐸

Gd, think I missed the joke of your initial post. Assumed it was another similar experiment. Carry on

No no, I was just simplifying as I remembered it. I did factcheck it before I post it. I just went with my initial idea.

I would never run experiments on friends.

I value our friendship more than the CIA grant. 🀭

Oh. Thought it was 5D chess to get people to agree the experiment was conducted with triangles and 100 people, as you said. Basically an updated version of same experiment!

I remember in grade 1 the librarian had the whole class convinced Peter Rabbit was with us in the room. Some actually pretended to see him.

I was so confused why I couldn't see him, when everybody else could.

I didn't realise the psycho was lying until much later.

What a psycho! It works tho...
