This innovative approach allows for cooperative task execution, where one task can be paused and another taken over explicitly. The system, developed by Professor Maziero's students, uses a structure called `task_t` to represent tasks, storing their execution context, ID, and pointers to facilitate the construction of a doubly-linked queue.
