I am using Garnet onmy phone and i like it tbh, and yeah I have my wallet for nostr within the app to send and receive, and it is fully functional. I paid for my vpn with it the other day

Garnet wasnt/isnt open source.

Your profile metadata just needs some extra nested fields defined in this format. I'll probably add to Corny Chat at some point for convenience

cryptocurrency_addresses: { "bitcoin": "bc1q02k5tkt5cvkwckt3geq7s4nz7arjk45rassexxp6y0v35u6d3sasssakjj", "liquid": "Gpz6TrhzbbiqjJspJWp4qZgS1wgXaSqxfs", "monero": "45Gg4fcAJoSYNSsXvXwPrzg1ji932tqgPVAZQaRAgTWHMQEUnCd23oggHsaXb4Z42EZz2dDBytFt3HeKPNhfccN7NbQTPba" }

I don't like Garnet but how was/is it not open source?

Is there no published source code matching the provided binary packages?

Doesn't it being a fork of Amethyst mean it can't make any ownership claims against further forks or anything?

I wouldn't want Garnet to update too often since it has the wallet built-in, but I would prefer a version of Amethyst or Garnet that uses Monerujo or other external wallets and gets about the same improvements as Amethyst
