Not the tool I use most, but one that's extremely useful: a portable oscilloscope. So many problems are caused by bad capacitors in switch-mode power supplies, and with the scope it's easy to see if there's ripple on the voltage, even if it reads fine on a multimeter. Also handy for a lot of other troubleshooting too of course, but testing power supply output is one of the things I use it for most.
