Yesterday I went to check on my very neglected Goodreads account and discovered 3 books I hadn't written attributed to me. At first I thought maybe this was AI made by some poor unfortunate who actually thought my name was known enough to piggy back off, but no, they're "writing journals" published through Amazon, which baffled and confused. Further investigation found many people using KDP to produce notebooks. Do people actually buy these? It seems like another passive income scam.
