Some folks may have a hard time understanding the Czech 🇨🇿 culture.

Let me just highlight couple facts for you to get a sense...

- There is a dedicated word representing the action of throwing politicians out of a window to their death ("defenestrace").

- "Semtex" plastic explosive was invented in Czechoslovakia.

- The Czech government owns multiple (!) tactical breweries.

- "Let's go for just one beer" phrase is considered to be included in UNESCO as a cultural heritage. Also it never (!) ends up being just one beer. "Jdeme na jedno!" 🍺

- Czechs have a saying that translates to "Who's not stealing from the government is stealing from their family."

- On Nostr you will usually notice czech nostriches by having 🍺 in their name or profile description. More often than a flag.

- Czechia 🇨🇿 and Slovakia 🇸🇰 split without a war. We just split, whynot. And generally still like each other.

Anything I missed? 🇨🇿

I think, that Czech people are deep inside beautiful anarchists. Just take a look at Švejk, the most famous Czech fiction characters, who just wanders around and makes neverending fun of everything connected to the state. And also his author Jaroslav Hašek. Last month somebody shared his funny wikipedia bio on twitter - pure anarchist :) :

"...In 1907, Hašek became editor of the anarchist magazine Komuna and was briefly imprisoned for his work.

In the same year, he fell in love with Jarmila Mayerová, but because of his bohemian life, her parents did not consider him a suitable partner for their daughter. When he was arrested for desecrating the Austro-Hungarian flag in Prague, Mayer's parents took her to the countryside in the hope that it would help end their relationship. In response, Hašek tried to back out of his radical politics and get permanent work as a writer. In 1909 he was appointed editor of Animal World magazine. Although this work did not last long (he was soon released for publishing articles on imaginary animals he had invented) yet he married Jarmila Mayerová on 23 May 1910.[14] However, after a year of marriage, Jarmila returned to her parents after Hašek was detained after trying to feign his own death..."

Since we’re on basically #Bitcoin majority social network I would like to point out that Czech republic is something like a Mecca of a #Bitcoin innovation.

It's an equivalent of tactical attack helicopters, but a Czech version... 😅
