A single feed per user is a limitation created by social platforms. If it were sufficient people wouldn’t need to have multiple social accounts for various content. I would like a Nostr client with multi-feeds. The typical Twitter type feed, long-form content, photo galleries, and automated content from apps. These could include such as music tracks playing, videos watched, games, scores, steps walked, etc. that are tagged and can be filtered.

One person’s noise is another person’s signal.

That is a very interesting thought

Unbundle. Bundle. Unbundle. Bundle. Un…

Kind of, but the beauty of Nostr being that any of those feeds could be used by dedicated clients and micro apps as well. So much more choice for users. The platforms lock you in by capturing the content, controlling the social graph, and dictating the way you can consume the content.

I’m sure someone will build that. Flycat already does short notes and blog posts (2 feeds)

chat and forums sharing the same content, kind1

i think iris is going the multifeed path, its ability to filter goibal via degrees of seperation is already excellent

Scuttlebutt has a new thing with a metafeed which links to multiple feeds attached to it. I think it’s an idea worth considering for nostr.
