Guess I learned a bunch of useless trivia. Sadly not all valid emails work. I'm using one of the form alice-bob@example.com and there's a 20% chance it's tripping in their business logic. It's so tiring when web-forms acknowledge having received your message but there's no email to confirm it. Then you try with your alice@example.com address and you get the confirmation instantly.
