I was in Nice when I was 14 and lost my passport. Tried to get on the Chunnel to England but they wouldn’t let me. Got a new passport from the Embassy in France. Worked out, though. Got to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day and watch the fireworks at night. Sometime mistakes work out.
