Savoy cabbage is good in rustic vegetable soup 🥬

Red cabbage is a beautiful side.

My secret ingredients:

> a large 🍏 peeled and sliced thin

> a splash of red wine/cider vinegar

> honey

Adds a nice crunch and depth of flavor

You can also cook off an onion with 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds before cooking the red cabbage.

After your cabbage is cooked (1-1.5 hrs) I advise topping with toasted walnuts.

Simply stunning.

Low and slow is how you go.

Only a fool would rush red cabbage.
