Another big addition of version 1.1 is RSS Feed Imports.

Now you can easily add your DeMu RSS to Nostr Music.

Also hopefully it would be bridge for Wavelake folk to join Nostr Music too.

Thanks for the heads up.

So with this, would I import an existing RSS and you will host the media into a Nostr node?

I actually don't really understand what Nostr Music is.

I also want to set up a signer so I can start using some of these things!

So it looks like with Sunami you can either upload your rss feed to populate the songs into “nostr music” or you can manually upload your audio and album art and it will host them on a nostr server for you.

As RSS feed is just a container with links it will create Nostr events with the same links to your audio. So you still can self host your music. At the same time if you are coming from Wavlake or dont like your hosting you can reupload audio and artwork to Blossom servers (Nostr Media servers).

Nostr Music is a standard for music nostr notes used by us, zaptrax.app, nodecast.xyz and nostria.app and anyone really as its open system.

I just uploaded our EP to nostr music through zaptrax and it populated in sunami and other nostr music apps. Didn’t link rss, just did it manually track by track
