I’ve always felt that“low time preference” and “high time preference” were confusing and suggest the opposite of their intended meaning. This is further evidenced by the many bitcoiners I’ve seen trip over the distinction when trying to sound smart to someone…

i prefer the tried and true old school tools in much of my life, unless a legitimate improvement is contained in the new, and not just a sense of novelty.
