I kinda have to call bullshit on this guy. I just looked up an order from Instacart for around 20 items I placed in 2020 and hit the reorder button and it was more or less the same price.
That doesn't necessarily mean it's bullshit. Maybe you simply bought stuff which hasn't been affected by price inflation.
Whereas his cart could consist of gallons of orange juice and chocolate and so on... Same problem as always when trying to find numbers for price inflation.
I just need to see more proof than a random TikTok guy.
