I'm getting a 3.3% pay increase for my "hard work and ability to drive positive change."

Cool, but we don't even get merit based pay anymore (for equity). Everyone, including those who do the least, get the exact same.

I would be upset if my Bitcoin stack wasn't embarrassing the fiat mines. There's no way that's even close to covering cost of living increases in my area. Our food bill alone went up more than that the first half of this year. A lot more, actually.

I just don't see this ending well. End stage fiat.

While the government is probably also trying to increase taxes or regulations to extort even more money out of the employer so eventually they'll need to shut down their business or go more and more digital because they don't need to pay a salary to robots and computers, or like they've been doing by sending jobs overseas.

Yes, without bitcoin, hope would be at an all time low!

It's been that way, or trending that way since 1971. I am drastically reducing my expenditures in some ways just so I can get out of the rat race.
