Does anyone want to hear my review of Insidious: The Red Door?

Oh. You have no choice nvm.

I love that it was no-gore. And it was authentic in its Lovecraftian essence. I also love that it was low-SFX (if not none..?). However, in film, if the visual doesn’t work, you have to cut it, even if it means sacrificing some story. And not all the visuals worked. The art scenes, were stunning though.

So what’s the verdict? Can’t have a review without the verdict…

5 out of 10 stars normally ⭐️ but I’ll give it 6 out of 10 because the story felt authentic

Or “interesting” as a muggle would say
