How do I set up how different amounts for zaps I want to make other than what seems to be the options given when I click to zap an note?

I think you need to set when you make a post, but I have never done that, usually people zap me with random amount
So if I want to zap someone - they have set up the minimum zap amount they accept?
What if I'd rather zap them a dif amount? That's what I am looking for.
I understood differently. You can zap anyone with any amount unless they make a post with a fix amount for that specific post or just post a zap
You hold the #zap button down and then you can type in a custom amount at the top
Hold down the zap icon and you can zap a custom amount

Amethyst on my android device. Primal on desktop that seems pretty finikie.
Hold the zap button down on a note and you will be able to change the amount you are going to send..
