Memory loss is abundant and clear

But my mind refuses to adhere

It will fight with all of it's might

It's in my nature

My personality says it's major

Even if I wanted to just give up

My brain says it still hasn't had enough

What can I do

My thoughts are currently askew

But my neurons will renew

A synapses - a neural pathway

What more can I say

I don't call the shots

The firing neurons do what they were taught

My neuroplasticity will thwart any cytotoxicity

No toxins, virus, or tbi

Can make what's inside the encephalon die
