Christianity IS defiance. Jesus defied the Jewish authorities.

Early Christians had to fellowship underground because their meetings WERE ILLEGAL.

If the law required you to be Muslim, what would you do? Would you lie about your faith? Or would you defy them and be executed, like you are instructed to, like our Savior did?

We are not to blindly submit to authorities, only to righteous authorities.

Oh the bible is clear about that too.

The book of acts discusses that. We are to obey God. It is ok to defy the world leaders in your scenerio.

Otherwise, the bible is clear: Obey your government.

You are committing idolatry with your thinking.

Oh wise sage, what am I idolizing?

I am saying that defiance against a government that directly opposes biblical values is biblically justified. You just contradicted yourself.

Our government steals, they murder, they commit more atrocities than you or I will ever know. They fund abortions, they fund sexual immorality, and they oppress Christians openly. It is our duty to defy them.

I’m not advocating for a violent revolt, but for mass non-compliance.

The early Christians meeting in secret was an act of defiance against the government, are they condemned?

You are turning Christianity into some libertarian hybrid and that is idolatry.

Obey Scripture, authorities, until they try to take God away from you.

That's it

Anything else is you creating your own religion like you now the mind of the lord. Nobody does

Government does bad things but God puts them all in there , according to scripture, for whatever reason we will not understand.

Our government has tried to take God away from us. Every government in history has opposed us.

It is legal to protest the Government by legal means and win

According to Acts, defiance is justified if the government opposes the will of God. Acts 4:18-19 makes it clear that we must make our own judgement whether the government is opposing His will

And who are you to know that your judgements are aligned with God?

What being are you?

How do you know your righteousness are justified?

Do you know the mind of the lord and his will?

It says make your own judgement.

I am 100% sure that transgenderism, war, theft, lying, and murder are all against the will of God.

I am certain that 99% of politicians break their oath of office.

I am sure that advocacy against the constitution legally precludes you from serving in office.

I am certain that people who advocate against the 1st and 2nd amendment and then accept office are in violation of the law, and that the FBI failed in carrying out the background check of the official before allowing them into the office.

I’m not a blind anarchist who believes in a violent revolt. Our government is not justified, neither under their own law, nor under God’s law.

You don't just make your own judgement. Where does it say that?

> I am 100% sure that transgenderism, war, theft, lying, and murder are all against the will of God.

Yes, goes back to Sin, and Mosaic law.

Yes, bad shit happens. We are all sinners.

And?

Everyone is where they are for a reason

Yes we are all sinners, but we should not encourage sin. We should hate sin. We should be repentant, and lead others to repent, rather than enabling their sin. If our tax dollars are supporting evil, then we are supporting evil.

It is our duty to defy a government that commands us to do evil.

No no no.

" If our tax dollars are supporting evil, then we are supporting evil. "

You are still trying to put Christianity in your own Ancap fantasy. That is idolatry.

We don't really have much control where our tax dollars go. We have rules

We do have control of where our tax dollars go. We genuinely do. We simply do not exercise control.

This is not idolatry. I put nothing above God. I worship nothing but God. Don’t go casting stones.

We do not live in a monarchy. This government was designed to enable discourse and protest. This system IS libertarian.

How is advocating for a non violent reduction in the power of government in any way not in submission to the democratic form of government that we live under? It was designed so that I could do this.

I don’t understand how you believe that voluntary governance is less righteous than the violence based, non-consensual rule we live under now.

You literally served to protect my right to protest dude.

God clearly doesn’t magically install rulers. Rulers come to power by many different means. Often they come to power by force.

Does this make force an authority to be submitted to? What legitimizes a ruler?

You have to ask God one day. We do not know the mind of the Lord, only what is written

If the whole of Christianity says that a ruler is unjust, his rule is clearly not legitimate.
