Even though Android is open-source, most versions come by default with Google spyware.
For Apple (both iOS and MacOS) and Windows, it’s even worse…

but: Before I use Lineage I would even use Calyx, but I prefer GrapheneOS for my Androids.
GrapheneOS seems like the best choice but only available on Pixel phones. it is a good thing Pixel phones have decent specs because it makes this decision really easy 😄
Kind of ironic to be purchasing a google product just to "de-google" it with a custom ROM 🤣
but: before I buy a Google product, I will revive my old Samsung 12 year old smart phones with Android 13 and LineageOS.
