Onyx isn’t being updated anymore apparently because the Amethyst guy made the censorship stuff optional. I think it’s still enabled by default though.
I agree about the Amethyst bit but the nsfw avi is inviting reports, and I get it tbh. It’s just common etiquette to not do that, even if you’re trying to sell p*rn or whatever, esp because children also use social media.
