Like many million other people I started to make sourdough over lockdown, but then with one thing and another I just let the starter die and haven’t made sourdough for ages since. I’ve now got a new starter going and today was the day to test it. I am so pleased that it seems I’ve still got the knack! Can’t wait to try it!

Awesome! Same here, luckily with a little coaxing my starter is very active still. The only positive I can think of from that time, I learned a new skill!

It lives, neglected, in the back of the fridge and is fed sporadically at best 😂. Best of luck and many more loaves!
